ABOUT US

Mythologies and folklore are carriers of cultural messages and they served as our ancestors’ guidance in life. They are not superstitions or bedtime stories, but rather are reflections of human unconsciousness and our ancestors’s words of wisdom. 

Our ancestors believe that the lake is not formed from glacier melting or precipitation, but from the tears of goddess; that the eclipse is not an astronomical event, but a sign that the reverend beings on the moon are in danger; that the plants are not products of evolution, but are  awards to those with a kind heart… just appreciate the myths’ beautiful and magical explanations of natural phenomena as a starting point...

In the world that we live in today, the development of technology has led many of us to dismiss the myths as being disjoint from reality or incongruous to modern times. The truth, however, is that the way we operate is still largely (though unconsciously) influenced by the beautiful stories that we grew up hearing, and many motifs in the stories are still relevant to our society now. Science should be used to preserve, not to reject these stories.
